Pilates Mat Classes
Mat classes are a 55 minute all over body workout designed to strengthen and stretch the whole body.
We offer 3 levels of Pilates Mat Classes.
Mat I is for Beginner clients and covers the basic 10 exercises in the traditional method mat work and more.
Mat II is for Intermediate clients that are familiar with the foundation of the method and are looking for a challenge. There are a minimum of 26 exercises from the traditional mat class that will be in each of these classes and more.
Mat III is for clients who workout out on a daily basis, who are strong and fit. The traditional Advanced mat class is what we do in this class!

Mat I
Ideal for beginner clients – covers the fundamental 10 exercises in the Traditional Method Mat work and more.
The Triadball
This grape coloured ball is a unique way to enhance the Pilates Mat exercises. By using it you will find new muscles, challenge stability and improve muscle tone.
Community
This class is by gold coin donation. We want to give back to our community by offering these classes.
Mat II

Magic Circle/Resistance Ring
This tool uses firm resistance to zone in on specific muscles, challenge core stability and boost the toning benefits of Pilates Mat exercises.
Mat III
The traditional Advanced mat class is what we do in this class! Suitable for clients who workout out on a daily basis and are fit and strong.
Weights
Arm weights, ankle weights, poles and therabands may be incorporated into your workouts to create an effective and fun way to do Mat classes.

Common questions
Not for a Mat class. If you are in pain in your body, like a sore back or neck, mat classes are not appropriate for you. That is when an initial consultaion is need to attend Studio Classes.
Bring a towel and water. We supply mats unless you want to use your own. Wear something you would go to the Gym or for a walk in. Nothing too tight you would be uncomfortable working-out in nor too baggy (we need to see your alignment).
No Just turn up about 10-15 minutes before class is scheduled.
Not only does Fluid Form Pilates have amongst the best Instructors in the industry but we are really passionate about teaching. Many of our instructors have become teachers after experiencing the profound results the Method delivers. We believe in the Method and have experienced first hand its benefits.
Ideally, at least twice per week. Consistency is important too. Get into a routine and commit to daily exercise.
