Studio Pilates Classes

Our studio pilates classes ensure careful individual supervision is maintained for each client, using specialised equipment.

We maintain a low ratio of up to 3 clients to 1 instructor for a one hour work out. Each individual is assigned a tailored programme to best suit their needs and posture type.

Various equipment is used throughout classes including the reformer, cadillac, wunda chair, spine corrector, baby arc, high barrell, physio ball, magic circle, therabands, ankle weights, arm weights, and foam rollers.

Studio Pilates Classes are offered at both our Darlinghurst and Waterloo Studios.

Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness.

Common questions

Do I need an Initial Consutation?

To attend Studio Classes…Yes you do. During this 1 hour private we assess your Posture Type, discuss your personal goals and assess your movement quality on the equipment. We need to know what intensity to pitch your programme at, the IC helps us do that.

What should I wear to a class?

Something you would go to the Gym or for a walk in. Nothing too tight you would be uncomfortable working-out in nor too baggy (we need to see your alignment).

Will I be using all equipment?

Yes you will be given exercises on the various equipment depending on what the Instructor sees fit for you that class. We take requests also!

How qualified are your instructors?

Not only does Fluid Form Pilates have amongst the best Instructors in the industry but we are really passionate about teaching. Many of our instructors have become teachers after experiencing the profound results the Method delivers. We believe in the Method and have experienced first hand its benefits.

How often should I do a class?

Ideally, at least twice per week. If you are injured then maybe three times per week is necessary until we get you out of the ‘pain cycle’. Once a week is better than nothing, but you will experience results quicker the more often you attend. Consistency is important too.
